Set your own delivery zones and fees
Colmado lets you decide exactly where you deliver and what it costs: draw zones by radius or by area, give each one a fee, a minimum order, and an optional free-delivery threshold — and Colmado applies the right one automatically by address.
- Zones by radius (a distance around the store) or by mapped area.
- Per-zone delivery fee, minimum order, and optional free-over threshold.
- Out-of-area addresses are turned away before checkout, not after.
- The fee is snapshotted onto the order at checkout — later edits never change a placed order.
- Honest ETA estimates derived from distance, shown as a range.
Deliver where it makes sense, at a price that works
A corner store delivers a few blocks, not across the city. Colmado lets you set that boundary precisely — a radius around the shop or a drawn area — and attach the economics to each zone: a fee, a minimum order so a tiny order isn't a loss, and an optional free-delivery threshold to nudge a bigger basket. When a customer enters an address, Colmado picks the matching zone and applies its rules.
Snapshotted, so a quote is a quote
The delivery fee a customer sees is the fee they pay: it's snapshotted onto the order at checkout. If you later raise a zone's fee or redraw it, orders already placed keep the price they were quoted — the change only affects new orders.
Frequently asked
- What happens if someone outside my zones tries to order?
- Their address is recognized as out of area before checkout, so they're told you don't deliver there rather than placing an order you can't fulfill.
- Can I offer free delivery over a certain amount?
- Yes — each zone has an optional free-delivery threshold; when an order's subtotal clears it, the delivery fee drops to zero automatically.
